To go out of your way to talk to someone.

Typically used by yeshiva league kids (who happen to be the biggest hockers).

When you obtained a UCC loan on the household goods in your dwelling to use the cash as down payment on a vehilce purchase. In reference to a caveman taking out a loan and his one possession - his stick.
