Many young adults who were kids at the time of these golden years refer to it as the best years on television.

There were a handful of good shows such as Jimmy Neutron, Drake and Josh, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Invader Zim etc. Spongebob was good back then. Nickelodeon really died when they made that garbage ass Fanboy and ChumChum show.
