When one leaves by them self without warning or telling anyone before the do it.

When I get a car, I'm gonna be pulling a Shawshank Redemption and going from coast to coast.

A person who denies something out of habit, or for the sake of appearances, when in fact it is almost certain that the person did the deed in question. A person who talks about the effects of various drugs, and follows the explanation with "or so I've heard" is shawshank innocent. Inspired by the amazing, award-winning movie (and the even better long story that inspired it) called "The Shawshank Redemption"

Pulling a Shawshank

When life is so good you raise your arms and reach for the sky, just like Tim Robbins' character did in The Shawshank Redemption after crawling through the pipe of shit to find freedom. Usually displayed on a guys trip, girls trip or honeymoon.

Let me take a picture of you guys with your beers on this sunny day on the deck of a Lake Tahoe ski resort.

Aw man, this is so awesome, I feel like Pulling a Shawshank.

Shawshanking

The art of mastering a public poo by releasing your poo when the other occupant flushes their toilet.

Much like when Tim Robbins masks the sound of banging the pipes to coincide with the thunder.

Man the lady across the hall always goes to the bathroom the same time I do. I've learned to let my poos out at the same time she flushes so she cannot hear the sounds. I'm shawshanking my poos like a pro!
