a relative cross between pure awesomeness and an absolute disaster.
Full of awesomeness and/or disaster
creatively off-setting
mixture of love and hate

by RENNe312...ITS REALLY "JENS" WORD THO. December 9, 2008

An overused word that describes people, places, and things that are not really awesome in any sense of the word.
Ah, you convinced people you were somehow an awesome, necessary person. It's the same thing the police, the FBI, the government, the media, healthcare workers, and many other entities (such as religious ones) do all the time with people's lives.

The origin of "awesome" was "something that inspires awe". Today the word has evolved to common slang. The original meaning has become somewhat forgotten; the idea of something being awe-inspiring is now shortened to it just being "awesome".
ie: He had the awesome idea of getting the family together for a much needed road trip.
ie: The Grand Canyon is an awesome sight!
ie: This song is awesome, I am buying it today.
