Dirt bag paddler. Someone who is commited to the lifestyle of raft guiding, whitewater river play 24/7 wether it be in a raft, kayak, canoe, tube even...anything that floats that you paddle. Also DBP' s are generally river hippes. Usually broke but will do almost anything, go to the extremist to stay n play in the rivers all day. Dirt bag paddlers enjoy night runs, big water, carnageand gnarr.

Rachel moved to the Nantahala River Gorge and traded her profession to become a DBP.
