Old White Lady Syndrome

When a person patronizes or orders others around to do simple things, entitled to others caring for their needs and wants. Other people’s needs are not as important no matter the urgency.

Person 1: I need to go to the restroom. OWLS person: I need my pillow fluffed, can you hand me my chapstick I need my toes covered completely.
Person 1: I almost peed my pants because she has OWLS (old white lady syndrome) and needed everything done for her.

White Room Syndrome

A lack of any detailed description in stories, novels or plays that leaves the setting vague and undefined.

Mortimer: "The novel's first chapter had such White Room Syndrome, I didn't know if Jim was in a store looking for a DVD of the Emoji Movie signed by Obama or voyaging through space for it"

Mortimer: " 'She ran inside the beautiful room, and waved to her friend in the room' This lacks any description about the room or her friend, therefore it has what we writers and readers call, White Room Syndrome"

white nose syndrome

White-nose syndrome (WNS) is a disease that affects hibernating bats and is caused by an invasive, cold-loving fungus (Pseudogymnoascus destructans). The fungus grows on bats' skin, disturbing their hibernation and resulting in dehydration, starvation and often death.

Millions of bats died from White Nose Syndrome.
