a word that has been created recently using the plus button located on the Urban dictionary website. Anyone can create a new word, and it can take just a second. Once the word is added it is not considered a new word anymore.

Creating a new word is not special anyone can do it.

NEW WORD

When you want to create a completely new word to add to the Urban Dictionary but have absolutely no idea on what word you should add, so you resort to looking at the top of the website page and see that it says "NEW WORD". Your mind is then overflown with the most wonderful idea you have ever had and end up making the definition way longer than it needs to be just simply because the word is so boring and there is absolutely nothing in the existence of the universe that you could type about "NEW WORD" to make it in some way seem... special.

You: What word should I add to the Urban Dictionary?

Friend: New word.

You: No duh.

Friend: No literally, NEW WORD

You: Oh, good idea

when there is nothing to type in the search bar and boredom reaches it's maximum level, the stupidity created as a result of these conditions allows people to think there is an actual definition for a random phrase like '"new word'"

idiot 1 - "bro i'm dying of boredom!"
idiot 2 - " have you searched for 'new word' in Urban dictionary?
idiot 1 - "no"
idiot 1 - "bruh. then you ain't even close to dying of boredom!"
