Vrijmibo

Dutch abbreviation for vrijdagmiddagborrel, a social drink or event on a Friday afternoon. Usually used for a beer with coworkers, fellow students or other friends at the end of the work week, around 16:00-20:00.

Although more 'formal' settings exist vrijmibo tends to be very low-key. A beer at the office from that one crate that has been in the fridge for a while is typical, but maybe the boss orders pizza to share. After the organized part is over it can transition into getting food or hitting the town.

Are you coming to the vrijmibo this week?
Do you want to go drinking tonight? No, it's saturday and the vrijmibo got a bit out of hand yesterday.
