An Armenian Hello is when you are expected to go to a gathering of friends &/or family because it is something everyone assumes you would want to go to. However you don't want to go so you don't even show up to begin with & don't try to hide it or apologize, because you shouldn't have to.

Darcie: Are you coming to my birthday tonight?

Todd: The Jets are playing so I'll probably just do an Armenian Hello & watch the game
