Pick Me

When a girl does something for male validation. It can be bringing down others (girls in this situation), changing the way they act only when around boys (or changing their whole self just to please boys) and agreeing on sexist things they say towards women.

... said she belongs to the kitchen, she's such a Pick Me.
... said I wear wayy too much makeup and that's why boys don't like me. She's such a Pick Me!

Pick

A grouping of plastic, floral items used in crafting; usually purchased in craft or dollar stores. As in, "you tear apart this pick, and use it's parts to make this wreath."

Youtuber crafters tear apart "picks" they purchase from crafting or dollar stores, to use in their creations. They say in their videos, "I found this great "pick" at dollartree." I found many examples on YouTube, and websites selling plastic floral picks with pinecones, leaves, flowers, and other floral items. But the YouTube "crafters" simply refer to all as "picks."

Pick Me

A person in which brings down their own community/group, for the other party's approval/attention. They are attention-seekers, generally annoying, and absolutely self-centered. They always try to make themselves stand out and always think that they're not like the other people in their own community/group. They can also be very manipulative by being self-deprecating for the attention of the other party, basically guilt-tripping for attention/approval.

Sarah : "Hi! We're partners, right? So, like, what's your name- Oh, my gosh! I'm so awkward with girls. I'm so sorry, I'm like one of the boys because I don't interact with girls".

Sarah : "Like, I'm really sorry because girls are so petty, so that's why I'm one of the boys, y'know less drama and stuff".

Sarah : "I'm pretty sure you're like, interested into corny stuff like Harry Styles, K-pop, and Makeup. I'm not like other girls because I'm into sports like basketball, boxing, y'know?"

Sarah : "Johnnn, stop!! I will literally fight you".

Emily : "Can't she just shut the fuck up? Literally a Pick Me".
