Goldpilled

A philosophy where a man rejects both modern tradcon and modern progressive relationship expectations that place the burden of provision, protection, relationship labour disproportionately on men. Goldpilled men seek reciprocal value be it economic, emotional, or practical from women in relationships. The standard that both parties bring something to the table.

Coined in early 2025 particularly on Twitter/X and men's blogging platforms platforms, the Gold Pill was inspired by pre-gynocentric traditionalist practices like the dowry as a modern interpretation that evolves men's rights thinking beyond the red pill and black pill paradigms. In particular the gold pill rejects the modern focus on romantic love, instead holding up pragmaticism, companionship, reciprocity in it's place.
