When someone is obviously irritated or annoyed you can tell them ‘don’t sound so excited!’ Or maybe ‘don’t seem (or get/be) too (or so) excited!’ To piss them off or maybe make them laugh.
I feel like everyone on the internet has forgotten this phrase and I personally love it and use it all the time 🤓

Get the we were excitedmug. When there is a white liquid on the floor, table, or counter, a sexual joke meant to imply that somebody came. Also can be used if somebody gets sprayed with something.
Example: Somebody’s soda sprays when opened or there is mayo on a table. Point it out and exclaim “somebody got excited!”
