Flag it is commonly used to tell someone to stop chatting after a person says something homosexual.

Or to tell someone to stop talking

Commonly used in NYC, different way of saying "Pause"

Friend: Hey, wanna come on a date with me tonight? You: Nah you're weird, flag it.

A Confederate Flag doesn't make some kid want to start a race war, it's just a piece of cloth. Lots of people that don't try to start a race war have one in their yard, so it can't be the flag that makes somebody like that.
