To pull a Soares

'To pull a Soares' on someone is to arrive significantly late or not show up at all for a casual or recreational engagement, often without prior notice.

"Want to catch a movie tonight?"
"Sure, let's meet at 7 pm."
Later that evening
"Hey, where are you?"
"Sorry, something came up, and I can't make it."
"Are you trying to pull a Soares on me?"

"Let's play together today around 8 pm?"
"Sure, see you there!"
(Later that evening, an hour past 8 pm with no response)
"Damn, you really pulled a Soares on me!"

Pull a Sorenson

The act of talking shit to someone while not being able to back it up. You may call someone a "piece of shit", tell them to go "suck a fatty" or talk more shit, but really, you won't do anything physical. Sideaffects include, but are not limited to; being called a pussy/bitch (etc.), being teased often while knowing you won't/can't do anything about it, get to be a very pissy person, and this phrase also works when you're being a jealous bitch.

Cody: I'm gonna beat Brandens ass again!

pull a Murdock

Comes from the TV series "The A Team". Whenever the team got a mission, they would have to break their pilot, "Howling Mad" Murdock out of the VA to transport them to the mission site. Means to break a friend out of a situation (bitchy g. f., stuck at home with no gas etc) so that you and your friends can go out on a mission.
