When conservatives decided what is “woke” based on if it is successful or not like when the Barbie movie released people said it was woke but then when it made a billion dollars people decided it wasn’t
Person1: ew the Barbie movie is about feminism it will have a 70% drop of on the second week go woke go broke person 2: we will see about it. 1 week later. Person 2: the Barbie movie just became Warner bros. Highest grossing film so much for go woke go broke. Person 1: actually it was not that woke. Person 2: omg you are an example of Schrödinger's Wokeness

This is the definition of "woke" as provided in court by Republican governor of Florida Ron DeSantis's legal team. Would you have voted for Trump if you disagreed?

In the current political landscape woke simply means anti-white, or white exclusion. It can be expanded to the demonization of whites as well as perceived ignorance. Examples would include 'white privilege', 'white guilt', 'white fragility'.

A modern ideology that combines Race + Identity politics with Marxism theology to create a Hierarchy of victimhood which teaches to see people as races and groups instead of individuals. And to judge people by their race and identity instead of their Merits, actions or their content of their character. Which believes all disparities between groups of people are caused by sexism, racism, homophobia & ETC. Instead of culture, work ethic, educational differences.
The wokeness in the media has made modern shows and movies. Disney pushing wokeness has harmed their reputation and their stock.

The woke right is a contemporary political phenomenon that mirrors the virtue signaling, identity politics, and outrage tactics of the woke left—but in service of conservative, populist, or nationalist goals. It deploys viral content, memes, and boycotts to attack progressive causes like DEI, gender ideology, and mass migration, framing these battles in absolute moral terms—often targeting racial egalitarianism and blank-slate humanism—and casting “patriots,” “Christians,” or “normal gays” as besieged identity groups.
“Boycotting Bud Light over a trans ad? That’s the woke right”
“Hey Fran, what happened to your X account?” “It got nuked by the pearl clutching woke right.”

A word used by Republicans to describe anything they don't like. In other words, anything that isn't, or isn't about straight, white, neurotypical, skinny men.
Example of how it is used in a sentence: Noah thinks that two of her coworkers (Ethan and Tara) are woke because Ethan is on the autism spectrum, and Tara is in a wheelchair."
