Top and tail 

a sleeping arrangement involving two people with their heads at opposite ends of the bed. Often proposed as a precursor for surprise sex where the other party is unwilling.

i asked her if she would mind a top and tail but she said she did mind. I guess I'll have to make to with a hand shandy on the couch again.
