Extended cuckold family

The extended family of a cuckold husband, such as the parents or siblings of the husband.

Melissa is married to Ben, but she got pregnant by Noel, so Ben's parents and siblings are the extended cuckold family since they aren't related to the baby. Why are Ben's parents and brothers at the baby's christening, they aren't related to the baby.
