Nikola Tesla

In a phrase Nikola Tesla > Charlie Sheen, Nyan Cat, Chuck Norris, and any other so-called win people added, then raised exponentially to the power of a googolplex. This dude invented the polyphase alternating current system, fluorescent lighting, had OCD (especially with the number 3), caused an earthquake, might have invented a time travel machine but blueprints destroyed in lab fire, was the true inventor of radio, helped develop a necessary logic gate called an "AND" gate, and lots more. The best thing he did though, was invent the epic win Tesla Coil.

Nikola Tesla was far more influential on out lives than Edison, yet he gets only a paragraph, if any in textbooks. Nikola Tesla = WIN. And sadly he's dead and asexual. He's also somewhat hot.

A absolutly brilliant serbo-croatian inventer, he single handedly advanced human knowlage in the feilds of electromagnetics by decades. He was a rival with Thomas edison, and was very tall and "odd". He suffered from a host of mental disorders like OCDand was completely asexual. He also was a ambidextor and possesed a seemingly photographic memory. Many of his inventions have been suspected to have been "repressed" by energy companies. He Died alone and pennyless at age 84. He had a amazing mind.

1. The smartest man that ever lived. Period. Did crazy/awesome things like almost destroy an entire city block in New York, designed the first death ray, and melted one of his assistants hands with xrays (by accident). Was also pretty darn crazy, if that wasn't obvious.

2. Also, best vampire ever, as portrayed in Sanctuary, which happens to be a super awesome show. Edward Cullen, eat your heart out!

Nikola Tesla

To simply put it, he was one of the greatest minds that ever lived. He developed the modern electrical system of alternating current, which powers much of the modern world. Tesla was an ethnic Serbian born in the Austro-Hungarian empire in 1856, and moved to the US in the late 1800s. He was also extremely asocial and reclusive, and is believed to have died a virgin.

Nikola Tesla may have been the smartest person to ever live, and certainly one of the most impactful on society.
