Corralejo 

A once quiet and poor fishing village in the north of Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, now a very popular tourist destination overrun by big-headed and loud Italians. Embarrassing British hooligans are also very much present but are mainly confined to shitty football bars.
It has the best beaches on planet Earth, awesome surfing spots, warm Canarian locals (mostly the older generation) and fantastic nightlife.

Corrales 

A village in modern New Mexico, USA which was founded by Pueblo Indians centuries ago and indicated as a pueblo in Spanish maps as early as 1776. There are many indications that, whatever name it was called, this sloping, fertile crescent on the banks of the Rio Grande was settled by pueblo peoples for hundreds, if not thousands of years before Cortez wandered through the area. Today Corrales is a mostly rural community, unique in being a true, independent village nearly totally swallowed by a large metropolitan area (Albuquerque/Rio Rancho), yet wholly dedicated to the agrarian lifestyle and arts. A gem of the Southwest.

Corrales NM

Corrales is a small village of 8000 surrounded by Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. The place consists of 100+ year old historical buildings and houses, mansions, and trailers, art galleries and the Bosque/ river. Most people assume that Corrales is all rich people, and they are mostly correct, especially nowadays. Houses are extremely expensive and the 30% of people there who aren’t rich likely have houses that were bought before the year 2000. There are barely any young families, most people there are retired or use their corrales house as a summer home. There are only 4 ways in and out of corrales and cops will pull you over for going 1 mile over the speed limit. Corrales has changed over the years from Spanish village, to artistic community, to wealthy liberal community, to basically just wealthy. A trailer or old house gets razed almost every month to put a mansion in.
