Suburbistan 

Used to describe the barren wasteland known as suburbia. Its a play on the Persian suffix -stān, added to other wastelands such as Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.

I had to skip the party because it required travel to Suburbistan and I didn't have my papers with me.

The supposed "Picture perfect American family." Usually a 9 to 5 father, with a stay at home mother, with a talkitive drama queen daughter, and a football jocky/baseball player son. Have smiles plastered to their face.
