Exit cue blindness.
Refers to some people’s inability or unwillingness to perceive your obvious hints that you need to end a conversation, generally due to you having pressing or urgent business elsewhere. E.g. you point at your watch and say “Is that the time!? I’ve got to run, I have a job interview in 15 minutes!”. The other person (with ECB) ignores your not so subtle hints, and continues talking, oblivious to your need to exit the conversation.
