1. Something (generally clothing) black, Gothic, or equally depressing that would be something you'd see at a funeral.
2. When someone is depressed- not necessarily because of a recent death- and holes up in their room and hardly eats.
3. Something creepy, eerie, or ominous.

One who accompanies two other girls to make them look better. Usually, without their own knowledge.

There were two pretty girls accompanied by an uglier, fatter girl. The other girl was a DUFF, only there to make the other girls look better.
