Avast Antivirus

Avast Antivirus is an antivirus program that is infact a bootkit, persistence and scareware.Bootkits are a type of modern malware used by a threat actor to attach malicious software to a computer system. Avast cannot be deleted if you try to delete directly (it will say you dont have permissions to uninstall the program.) since it's a bootkit. It is in a level below the operating system, however there are tutorials on youtube on how to uninstall avast antivirus.

If you have avast installed, out of nowhere sometimes popups will come up on the right bottom corner of your screen, telling you your IP address is visible or that you "have" malicious software on your computer, and avast will ask you to pay to get rid of it, which is uh.. Not really a good marketing at all.. Only perks of paying is getting rid of the popups which is exactly what scareware wants.
Though even after all this, users still say avast really has good protection. Which is probably true, because it has been seen deleting trojans and had successful scans.
"Goodness, this new 'avast antivirus' I got won't stop displaying popups! Is my computer in danger?!"
