Yazdi

City in southern Iran. Semi-famous for being the last to be taken over by Arab Muslims back in the day due to there being no easy way of getting there from the other major cities. Still to this day has a majority non-Muslim population.

People from Yazdi tend to have some form as the word as their last name.
