The act of authoritatively telling someone an answer with absolutely zero knowledge in the subject and then passing the issue to someone under false pretenses.

Steve opens up the email from Hank and reads the statements made to the customer about the issue. Upon reading the analysis, he turns to his colleague and exclaims "I just got labued by Hank. He basically told the customer that purple elephants can fly"
