Van is someone who hates themselves and has been through a lot. They typically are short but act big. They have dyed hair and glasses. They hate how they look and are probably a bit chunky. They struggle to figure out what sexuality they are and spend all hours thinking if the rude jokes people tell them were really jokes. They try to hint sometimes that they need a hug and they have divorced parents.
