picked me out of the crapper

to be cheered up.
when you are IN the crapper, you are feeling down or depressed or something.
To be "thrown in the crapper" is wen something puts you down or upsets/depresses you.
Therefore, if something "picks you out of the crapper" it makes you happier (:
