When someone or something prevents you from drinking. The alcoholic equivalent of a cock block.

Lloyd: "Last night was a string a bad judgement and dirty women, where was your ass at?!"

Keith: "My girl made me take a public oath of alcoholic abstinence, she's totally bottle necking me."
