When you've been faithful to one side but then you realized you've been on the wrong side all along, so you pull an Italy. A reference to Italy switching sides from the Axis Powers to the Allied Powers in WW2 when they realized the Axis Powers are about to lose.
The two lads realized their teammates were fascists, so they pull an Italy.

I don't speak baguette 

Basically a funny alternative for telling someone you don't speak French.
Guy 1: Bonjour, parlez-vous français?
Guy 2: I'm sorry, I don't speak baguette
