Software Toddness

Definition for an effect where a piece of software - typically a videogame - is getting rushed more and more as development on it continues, and as an effect has cool functions, mechanics and/or features cut from it.

Effect typically becomes noticeable for the player after the tutorial/introduction or early game content, where most videogame journalists will stop playing and start writing their review article.
Guy: "Why does this game not have feature x despite it being worked on during development? It would have been so cool to see feature x working in-game!"
Guy2: "Oh yeah, thats just a classic case of Software Toddness"
