Dooming

After spending an excessive amount of time doom scrolling, one's perception of time begins to deteriorate to the point where the passage of hours becomes virtually indistinguishable. The mind becomes so absorbed in an endless stream of content that temporal awareness fades, leaving only the vague realization that what felt like a few minutes has somehow become several hours. At that stage, conventional human comprehension of time has effectively ceased to function.

Logan's doom scrolling rapidly evolved into dooming, leaving him convinced only ten minutes had passed when, in reality, nine hours—and a substantial sweat stain on his shirt—had accumulated.
