used since the early 60s woot is the sound of a large bore 2 stroke motocross bike.
Used to indicate excitement, originally by motocross fans.
Similar to braap.

Woot!! That guy is haulin. Woot, Wooooot, Wooooooooooooooot.!!!!!!
