The incident invoked by putting your latte down on the counter to reach for condiments. In doing so, gravity combined with the sheer amount of milk foam reacts in such a way as to send a plume of foam out the small hole in the top.

Starbucks patron #1: "Ew, what the hell is that on your shirt?"
