Lad mate
"Lad mate" is a phrase that originated from a viral, highly uncomfortable media event interview between Joe Weller and Behzinga (Ethan Payne). When Weller called him out for dodging his interview while doing an interview with someone else, Behzinga defensively blurted out, "Lad, mate, I was trying to leave!"
