Sisters of Mercy 

Best band ever, and just because they helped define a genre, doesn't mean that listening to them makes you a poseur.

As in: The Sisters of Mercy are THE BEST BAND EVER, and I listen because they're GOOD, not because I want people to think I'm tragically goth.
