The mentality of one who is good at begging and bad at accepting responsibility.

John has a job and makes decent money, but he's bad at paying rent and other bills. Every time I see him, he's asking me for money. John has a bum mentality.

Debut

Someone is allowed to participate in a game or sport where the person playing them is significantly better. Usually results in the novice being outplayed or beaten badly.

Lebron James gave Bob his debut yesterday when he dunked on him.

I gave him his debut yesterday when we played poker.
