ice axe

An axe used by mountain climbers for cutting footholds in the ice.

Can be referred to as a weapon.

Mountain climber: "Hey man I like your new ice axe. Much better than my old rusted one."

2.
Idiotic maniac with an ice axe: "Hey look there's someone to kill. I have a weapon. Maybe I will kill that person because I have a weapon."
