Punishment light

A traffic light that stays red much longer than necessary, keeping you from wherever you have to go and making it seem that the light's sole purpose is to make you miserable

A: "Hey where you at, man? This party is f***ing awesome!"

B: "I'm stuck at the punishment light on Main."

A: "Oh, bummer. See you tomorrow then."

B: "FML"
