To "Gather," is the act, of recovering, after a most embarrassing mistake or "slip-up."

Or to recollect, oneself.

Ms. Damian: "Casey, you with us?"

Casey: ".... (staring, off into space)

Nick: "Willy, gather!!"

Cam: Gather Willy"

Andrew: "Gather!"
