A lame attempt at making what some people call "music" and others call "poetry" - it all sounds the same, all has the same beat and usually has meaningless lyrics. The music videos can mostly be described as mild porn.

Examples of rap lyrics with no meaning:
Eminem: "ass like that"
50 Cent: "wanna see you open up those pants just a lil' bit"
Snoop Dogg: "Drop it like it's hot"
