vragnaroda

vragnaroda is the English transliteration of the Russian “враг народа”, meaning, literally, “enemy of the people.” This term was used by the Soviet Union as early as 1917.
Anyone working against the interests of the Soviet Union was called a vragnaroda and could be arrested.
