its basically when something skips most steps, thoughts, or really just any time someone skips a lot to get from the beginning straight to the end.
origin: Pokémon Legends Z-A has you go straight from rank V to F in the royale (oops story spoiler)

Mr. G: That math proof you gave made zero sense, you just did a few steps then skipped a lot of very important steps then magically arrived at the last few steps, this ain't the Z-A royale you can't just beat vinnie and skip from V to F, so of course imma have to mark that WRONG
