Getting Vertical

When one lifts their cup of any alcoholic beverage from the standard horizontal position, to the vertical position perpendicular to ground level increasing the flow of the alcoholic beverage which results in severe intoxication.

"I'm getting vertical tonight.", "While you were studying, I was out getting vertical!"
