(verb) An attempt to turn an obviously BLS ambulance run into an ALS run by talking the patient into having life-threatening symptoms. This is done in order to avoid taking care of the patient and/or avoiding paperwork. Also known as a Ressett.

That last patient only had a sprained ankle. Why did you try to Burton me?
