Mismister (Msmr.)

an unmarried man. Mismister is to mister as miss is to Mrs. it is used as a way for others to determine the relationship status of a man without actually asking anything more than their name.

woman: excuse me but I'm new around here and i was just wondering if you could show me around.
man: oh of course i'd be glad to. my names John Kandel.
woman: is that mister Kandel or Mismister (Msmr.) Kandel?
