A word used, especially in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, to emphasize the importantance of something. "I'm going to the Dunkin' Donuts" instead of "I'm going to Dunkin' Donuts", or "I'm drinking the Moxie" instead of "I'm drinking Moxie"
"I'm going up to the Tahget, but since it's the busiest shopping day of the year, I'm going to be taking the asprin."
