The point at which a phrase, artifact, or person has become so popular you can no longer legitimately like it/them.

e.g. "Dude, 'epic win' popped years ago"...

or, "Hey lady, Atheism's popped, God's back in"...

or, "I went off Lady Gaga after she popped"...
