to have a massive improvement in a skill, eg. singing.

Taemin is a member of a Kpop group SHINee. He had zero skills in singing when SHINee just debuted but he improved himself by training and training and training. He is now considered a vocalist. Taemin became the epitome of improvement.

"My idol is lacking in singing skills. I hope he will pull a taemin someday."
