someone who hides their racism behind vague, ambiguous terms because they think it gives them deniability if they get called out.

Billy Bob: We need to start stringing them thugs up like they did in the old days.
Mike: That comment was totally racist.

Billy Bob: Hey! I never mentioned race. If you heard the word "thug" and assumed I meant black people, then maybe YOU'RE the racist.
Mike: Oh, so you're just a chickenshit loophole racist.
