The act of exchanging smileys on IM, often to infuriate the other person. Can also occur in a Smiley War( the act of dueling with someone over the number of smileys you can use at once)

Stable Male: " Damn it i hate those stupid things, woulda STOP smileying at me?!
Annoying woman: " ;P "
